34x Labs draws on a family tradition of engineering, manufacturing, and defense that spans generations. That experience includes building infrastructure, helping manufacturers grow, and supporting complex defense programs. It shapes our practical approach to business building and our respect for the people and technical expertise that make growth possible.
Founder John Pugh brings experience across entrepreneurship, investing, architecture, and real estate development. A licensed architect with a background in finance, John has helped lead more than $1.8 billion in development activity, bringing together capital, technical specialists, and project teams to deliver complex projects.
That experience provides a foundation for our work: evaluating opportunities, understanding constraints, aligning partners, and committing resources with an owner’s perspective.

Our core team brings capabilities in investment analysis, research, business development, and project planning. Alongside that team, we bring together consultants and advisers with executive, financial, manufacturing, and engineering expertise.
We assemble the right combination of experience around each company’s needs. That may include a fractional executive, a manufacturing engineer, financial leadership, or specialists who can help evaluate production requirements and facility decisions.
